Celebrating 70 Years of the League of Ukrainian Canadian Women
The League of Ukrainian Canadian Women (LUCW) is proud to announce its 70th Anniversary Celebration,
taking place on Saturday, November 14, 2026, at the historic Old Mill Toronto.
This special milestone will commemorate seven decades of service, leadership, advocacy, philanthropy, and community building by generations of Ukrainian Canadian women. Since its founding, the League has remained dedicated to preserving Ukrainian heritage, strengthening our community, supporting humanitarian initiatives, and advancing the values of freedom, dignity, and democracy.
Guided by the theme “In Unity Is Our Strength,” this anniversary celebration will honour our rich history, recognize the contributions of our members and supporters, and inspire future generations to continue our mission.
We look forward to welcoming members, supporters, community leaders, and friends as we celebrate this remarkable achievement together.

About the League of Ukrainian Canadian Women (LUCW)
The League of Ukrainian Canadian Women (LUCW) is a Canadian non-governmental organization that supports a strong Ukrainian community in Canada and also promotes Ukraine’s right to protect its national independence, security, and territorial integrity within the European family of nations. Founded in 1951 by post-World War II Ukrainian emigres who fled repression under Nazi and Soviet regimes, the League of Ukrainian Canadian Women works closely with its partner organization, the League of Ukrainian Canadians. LUCW is a national organization comprised of branches across Canada located in Edmonton, Calgary, Toronto, Etobicoke, St. Catherine’s and Montreal.
